Today on CBS at 3:30 PM eastern time, Adonis Stevenson will defend his Lineal/WBC/TheRing Light Heavyweight Titles against Sakio Bika. Boxing is back on network television, and its back with a force. CARRER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Stevenson won the Lineal/WBC/TheRing Light Heavyweight Titles at the Belle Centre in Montreal Quebec Canada on June 8th 2013 by knocking out Chad Dawson in the first round of their title fight. Dawson was never the same.
- Since then, Stevenson has successfully defended his Light Heavyweight Title against Tavoris Cloud on 9/28/13 by TKO, Tony Bellew on 11/30/13 by TKO, Andrzej Fonfara on 5/24/14 by UD, and Dimitry Sukhotsky on 12/19/14 by KO.
SAKIO BIKA
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- Bika won the vacant IBO Super Middleweight Title by defeating Peter Manfredo Jr on November 13th 2008 with a 3rd round TKO victory.
- On June 22nd of 2013, he won the vacant WBC Super Middleweight title by defeating Marco Antonio Peraban by majority decision.
