Deontay Wilder/Eric Molina Highlights & Prediction

Excitement is building in the Heavyweight Divison, and its all due to the WBC Champion, Deontay Wilder.  He is the first American Heavyweight champion since Shannon Briggs won the WBO title in 2007.  They say you aren’t a true champion until you defend your title successfully.  This Saturday June the 13th, Deontay wilder will try to do just that.  In his way is the tough, hard punching Eric Molina, who will be making his first attempt at a major title.  Should Molina win, he would become the first Mexican boxer to win the Heavyweight title.  This fight is sure to be filled with fireworks, as these two warriors go at it this saturday on Showtime Championship Boxing.



  • After knocking out all 32 previous opponents inside of 4 rounds, Wilder finally got a crack at the WBC Heavyweight Championship.
  • On January 17 2015, Wilder defeated Bermane Stiverne via unanimous decision to capture the WBC World Heavyweight championship.



  • On December 10 2010, Molina defeated pesky veteran Rayford Johnson.
  • Molina defeated Warren browning via 3rd round TKO to capture the WBC USNBC Heavyweight title.
