After a mediocre 2015 in the world of boxing, the end of the year is shaping up to be a good one.  Floyd Mayweather is about to fight Andre Berto, Gennady Golovkin will go up agaist David Lemieux in a fight of the year possibility, Canelo and Cotto will continue the great Puerto Rico Mexico rivalry, Lucas Matthysse will be back in action, and Wladimir Klitschko will put up all his belts against Tyson Fury.  Another top tier fighter will be in action as well.  Kell Brook (35-0, 24 KO’s) will be taking on Diego Chaves (23-2-1, 19 KO’s).

After what it seems like forever, going back and fourth with the trash talking Amir Khan, Brook has taken the fight against Diego Chaves.  Brook is the current undefeated IBF welterweight champion, and will be defending his title against Chaves in the Sheffield Arena in Yorkshire England.  Brook has mowed down every opponent he has faced, but has been criticized (by Khan), that he hasn’t fought anyone good.  Diego Chaves is coming off of a draw against Timothy Bradley, in a fight where he was beat up by Bradley, and somehow earned a split decision draw.
