Adrien “The Problem” Broner (32-2, 24 KO’s), the former 4 division champion, has a tough task ahead of him, as he will be facing Adrian Granados (18-4-2, 12 KO’s), at a 140 pounds. The fight will take place on February 14 2017, and will be aired on Showtime Boxing. Granados has been impressive, even if his record doesn’t quite show it. He got his signature win last November, when he knocked out previously unbeaten Amir Imam in the 8th round of their bout.
Broner is coming off of 2 straight wins, but they are nothing to brag about, as he simply out matched Khabib Allakhverdiev and Ashley Theophane respectively. His last real test was against Shawn Porter back in June of 2015, when he lost a unanimous decision to Porter. Broner has a potential matchup against Ricky Burns somewhere down the line, so he will have to be extremely careful not to let another one slip away, otherwise he can kiss that title fight goodbye.
