Their first fight was epic.  Their second won’t be short of spectacular.  On July 30 of this year, Carl Frampton (23-0, 14 KO’s) defeated Leo Santa Cruz (34-1-1, 18 KO’s) for the WBAsuper Featherweight Championship, in a fight that will not soon be forgotten.  Frampton won in a very close majority decision in a fight where almost 2000 punches were thrown.

On Saturday January 28th of 2017, Carl Frampton will put up the very title that he took from Leo Santa Cruz back in July, in their long awaited rematch.  If the second fight is anything like the first, boxing fans are in for a real treat.  I know I can’t wait for this one.  Frampton VS Santa Cruz won’t be the only attraction on January 28th, Mikey Garcia (35-0, 29 KO’s) will be back in action as he challenges Dejan Zlaticanin (22-0, 15 KO’s), for the WBC Lightweight title.  Due to inactivity, Mikey Garcia’s career has hit a bit of a stall, but he is back, and well on his way to being considered for the pound for pound list.  If he can defeat Zlaticanin, he will have to be strongly considered.
