Danny O’Connor (), who was set to make his first title appearance as he challenged Jose Ramirez tonight, has withdrawn from the fight.  Apparently, O’Connor collapsed yesterday right before the weigh in due to dehydration after he exited the sauna trying to shed 2 pounds.

His team thought his kidneys might have shut down, so they did the smart thing and pulled out of the fight.  This would have been his first world title appearance, but O’Connor went on to say “My health is the most important thing.”
